Yeah! Based on this one guy and one issue, it's all Americans, and only Americans.
I don't disagree about the stuff you mentioned. That said, with the internet it's easy to find people saying crazy shit about any subject, so it's good to be careful about inferring views of a bunch of people from a small sample.
There's so many anti-American try-hards on this platform.
Yup, a lot of anti-americans who specifically hate cars and think bikes will solve everything (even for the eldery and disabled).
Wait until I tell you about this amazing invention called "public transit". It was all the rage back in the early 20th century, and it might be making a comeback.
Ask the average USA-an about the age of presidential candidates.
I wasn't even saying ageism is not a problem, just making a joke about how a screenshot of some random asshole isn't representative.
That said, I don't think it's ageism to be concerned about whether two guys who are 81 and 77 should be put in the most powerful and stressful job in the world.
The age isn't what matters. It's cognitive ability. Simply looking at the number and saying "Number too high" is 100% ageism.
You don't think the average person has naturally reduced cognitive ability at 70+? I've never researched it I just assumed it declined in general just like eyesight, hearing, response time etc. I'm 40 and all those things have begun declining for me. I'm wiser but definitely not quicker.
Women have faced this kind of dross for centuries and it's not like the far-right were going to be progressive about it.
They're happy to give a free pass to barely coherent old white guys though.
plus, you gotta love that this subset of americans thinks the entirety of a woman's worth boils down to whether she can pop out lots of kids. 🙄
