https://hexbear.net/c/emoji sidebar has our guidelines for formatting them. Just edit them using those guidelines in GIMP or photoshop or whatever
In terms of getting them added to Hexbear, submitting them to c/emoji is the way to go there, but ultimately there's only one or two users who review the posts there and add them, so its not a sure bet they will get added immediately
