San Franciscowl had a pretty dominant command of things. I liked the owls on the Screech and green they should have gotten more votes than they did, but they're all good really.

It was pretty crazy doing this many pics in 2 days. I appreciate you guys that did enjoy this. I'm not a sports person, but it seemed a fun thing to do, though not everyone may have agreed.

We had a lot of owls that were likely new to most of you, I'm curious what your favorite ones were that you weren't familiar with?

No, we weren't even very inetrested in which team is which, we justbalways compared the 2 groups. It was really difficult sometimes...

I just meant a favorite owl. The Buff Fronted seemed very popular, and I really liked the 2 Wood Owls.

Well, barn owl is always stunning. But I also really liked the pharaoh eagle, ural, spotted wood and sooty. And many others also didn't know (and liked, naturally) white faced scops. But the others are great too, and I think I never saw quite a few of them. Unfortunatelly, it's a bit confusing for me, the little I know about various owl species I don't know in English, so it's difficult to connect all information. Besides, English is rather lacking when it comes to naming animals and plants... There is very little system.

Well, the important thing is that you enjoyed them!

Where are you from? We have some French, Norwegians, and we used to have a German or 2, though I don't think I've heard from them in a bit, and I'm sure a few others. I like looking up the names and folklore of the owls across the world and sharing those too. I know I've come across many with different common names due to colonialization and such. I like tying history and culture in with the cool birds. I just like learning in general, so it's fun to have a jumping off point to start learning other topics. We have someone very interested in the Aztec culture as well, and I've learned so many neat things helping them research that as well.

I have to say I'm here for pretty owls, I don't know much about owl folklore. I know some of them are supposed to be bad omens, but that's pretty much it.
