Urban fantasy series almost always try to make WW2 a magical war with almost invariably problematic implications in execution.

I get the appeal for trying though. Imagine casting a spell with Mosin-Wizard staff combo.

The only reason my Lantanna half-elf wizard has a blunderbuss underslung on his staff is because his ex is a Cleric of Gond, and my GM wouldn't let me roll craft checks to make Toril's first Mosin master-key negl
