Raided an Artisan's Stash and fought off the monsters guarding it. But I really can't use the stuff inside since I don't have a crafter..yet so I'm gonna have to spin up another alt.

When I played, I swear I had like 4 or 5 characters for different things.

I can see that, it's a game where you need to pick and choose what your character is going to excel at.

Totally. Definitely had some kind of combat-focused character, a gathering character, and a crafter. I can't remember all the synergies off the top of my head. By the way, you're playing on UO Alive right? How is it?

Very cool. Lot of people online sitting at Brit bank or running around new haven. It has consensual pvp so you don't have to worry about toxic griefing when you're just trying to play and have a good time.

That's good to hear. Maybe I'll pop in sometime. I'm reading the wiki and it looks like the gathering skills and some others don't count towards the skill cap. That's nice.

https://uoalive.com/forum/threads/skills-that-are-considered-secondary-and-dont-count-towards-your-total-skillcap-unique-to-uoalive.521/ <<< the secondary skills system, it's pretty unique in that you can build your character how you want without the skillcap getting in the way of those.
