the language of the inevitable present has become so grating to me. it's all these removed know how to say. "there's only two options! get used to it! biden is already the nominee! there's nothing we can do to save palestine! fossil fuels aren't going away but we can still cap and trade! america will never have public healthcare! the empire is gonna last forever! the republicans are gonna last forever! the democrats are gonna last forever! capital is gonna last forever! the last 10 crises were just a fluke! we're on the long flat line of progress jack, better hop on if you want to experience the coming eternity of untenable horror!"
