A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

This post was reported for being offensive. Its hard to know what is offensive to all groups of people. "Colleague" is a pretty innocuous term and "twink" seems to be context dependent. It doesn't seem obviously derogatory in this context, "you see some dude" feels similar. I won't take action for now. I'm very open to feedback, being wrong, and learning. Thanks all.
I don’t think it’s offensive. It just seems to be a bad shower thought. OP shouldn't feel bad for having it but should feel bad for sharing it.
Eh why should I feel bad for sharing it either? I shared it, ppl didn't like it, so they downvoted it. Ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like your attitude. IDGAF what dumb shit I post when super high or drunk either.
Is that your weird minimizing way of saying you reported it, or did you somehow learn of a reporting?
I'm a mod, so the latter. I want the reporters to know they are heard, but also I tend to be slow to take action.
You mean by deleting old, totally innocuous posts like a week after they posted it? What rule I broke I don’t know. Don’t much feel “heard” as a user
Good luck with your sub
This is my first time being a mod. For example early on I would just remove any post that got a single report, but obviously that's not a good strategy.
There are also other mods including an automod.
If I'm reading your picture correctly it was only 6 days ago that your post got removed. I'm not even sure if I can undo a mod action but I'll look into it. Thanks for bringing it up.
Edit: I am having trouble finding the original context of the comment that got removed, finding out how to reverse it, or finding who removed it. It's possible it was me but I don't remember it. I have reached out to other mods for help.
