At this point netenyahoo is attempting to establish a caliphate, so terrorists seems a viable option.

You can blame bibi all you want, this issue predates him. Scapegoating him only enables this problem to continue. Don't get me wrong he sucks, but removing him will not drastically change the situation.

"Antisemitism in Germany predated Hitler, scapegoating him only enables the problem to continue," Nazis in the 40s probably. What a clown thing to say. He is the current tip of the genocidal spear known as Israel. Though I agree with you entirely that removing him won't change Israel's genocidal actions. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be tried at The Hague and put in prison for life.

[–] wildbus8979@sh.itjust.works 9 points 7 months ago (1 children)

That's exactly what I'm saying though.

Fair! Fuck Netanyahu and the Likud.

[–] narp@feddit.de 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Ah, but shitting on Biden and the US at every opportunity is completely reasonable while talking bad about the guy who is actually pulling the trigger is fucking scapegoating!?

[–] wildbus8979@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Did you miss the part where Biden removed the sanctions on those settlers or something? Jesus fuck you people are insufferable.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I did actually miss that part. Cuz it doesn't seem to be in this article at all I don't know where the title comes from.

[–] wildbus8979@sh.itjust.works 5 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

It doesn't seem to be in the article? The article is specifically about the executive branch, led by Biden, removing the sanctions. What else do you want? A signing telegram?

It's literally the first fucking sentence.

The US has dramatically softened the sanctions it imposed on seven violent Israeli settlers by allowing them to use their accounts at Israeli banks

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 0 points 7 months ago

And yet that's nowhere in there. There's no executive decree no change, no nothing. That's the first sentence and nothing backs it up in the entire article. In fact the only information the article is that they sent out a letter clarifying questions about the sanctions. There's nothing in there but actual changes. This is a bogus article from a bogus Source who uses bogus sources.

[–] narp@feddit.de -2 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

No, but the point is your hypocrisy. I never said that lifting the sanctions is right.
But "Jesus fuck" would it never cross my mind to call the person who is ordering those atrocities in Gaza a scapegoat.

Edit: Looks like Biden didn't lift anything.

[–] Linkerbaan@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

He lifted the majority of the sanctions. There's no impactful sanctions left anymore.
