WTF is an “EA”?
Didn’t people learn in high school that if you use Initials or an acronym you need to define it after the first use?
I’m seeing more and more of this sort of sloppy writing with little or no consideration for the reader without intimate knowledge of the writers’ niche wank genre.
if only literally the fucking sidebar of the sub had a link explaining precisely what this was all about
@dgerard If you're looking at awful.systems via a Mastodon client you never see the sidebar. Or even any indication that it isn't a Mastodon server.
i would say in that case "sucks to be them" and "their refund is enclosed"

So a post appears in ‘ALL’ and I click on it. I’m not an aficionado of ‘sneer club’ so I don’t know what it’s about.
I’ve now gone through to the sidebar and I’m left rather uninformed due to the purposely opaque cliquey in-joke nature of the text there. I mean, those are definitely words, I’ll give you that.
The link at the top doesn’t help because i don’t have time to parse a whole article when a 10 word summation of the community would do.

It's not like if Russian artillery pieces aren't named after flowers, so maybe there's another tradition in play here.
