Late night tweet from the official PlayStation X account confirms they will no longer force the linking of your PSN account to your PC copy of Helldivers 2.

I wonder how many refunds Steam processed already, I doubt any of those players will repurchase the game because there's the chance they change their mind.

I don't think Steam will be as lenient with refunds after this announcement, though, since they were attempting to do the right thing while Sony got their shit together.

They're not, correct. The wall is up again, and I've not seen it heard of any refunds going through since this notice. 🤷🏼‍♂️
