I hate that this seems to be the only place I can go to get my fill of JKR getting shit on. Most of my friends loved it growing up and will at most agree that she's an asshole, but then they lap up any and all of her media for them and their kids.

Most people can’t handle the fact that their treats are afforded to them on the backs of marginalized groups and then separating the art from the artist still shows support for the artist.
