I absolutely love how there's never any self reflection from people writing these articles. US military spending absolutely dwarfs Russia, and here they are talking about how terrible this is for the economy. I wonder if their target audience will ever start connecting the dots.

The difference being Russia actually does have a sprawling defense industry, the US is entirely a grift.
