Hey, it's what I said from the first 5 gameplay videos I saw.
Gameloop is boring and they make up for it by making everything else trash so it seems 'hard'. Bullet sponge walking simulators are just not fun. The memes are why people are playing this, not the 'thrilling' walk from a to b over and over.
Let's agree to disagree. I find the game to be plenty of fun, but you do you.
And I would do nothing to prevent someone from having fun. I'm glad people enjoy it.
You've dissented from the hivemind though, they don't like that. You're supposed to like the thing their favorite streamer told them to buy,
I disagree regarding the reason for the downvotes. I believe it to be the statement, that people only play for memes and not because it's fun. I find it to be fun and the people I play with feel similar. So I assume those 25(?) people felt the same and didn't like the commenter assuming their motivation to be memes. I know I don't, but I didn't downvote.
Or maybe it's the fact that OP admits he hasn't played the game in the first sentence?
I do admit I haven't played it. I know what's enjoyable after having a hole burnt in my wallet from meme hype and lies being pumped on the internet.
Meme trains are real and I'm VERY skeptical of any game that gains popularity overnight. This game hasn't proven me wrong either. I'd play it for max $15. It's maybe 6 hours of fun in my eyes.
Probably both. Same as the only other person being downvoted saying people bought what their favorite streamer told them to. Because apparently no one can just.. enjoy the game.
People still play the same 4 Team Fortress maps. And last time I played 2Fort, I fucking laughed like a little kid.
As if you need any more proof that Gamer YouTube has ruined gaming.
