That looks like a Callistemon species or possible Red Ironbark. (both Australian).

The colour won’t last long in the raw. Polishing and oiling can bring some of it back in the finished piece.

Edit: I know I’m answering this on Lemmy and OP will never see it, but fuck Reddit.
