What game and why are they mad?
Judging by the username, probably Final Fantasy 14. Couldn't say why, though.
No the sub in the screenshot is r/silenthill, silent hill 2 remake is coming in October.
Nah, it's a post to r/silenthill-- which probably means pre-SH4 purists carping on about how utterly dirty SH2 remake could be done by the project's current steward; because when anyone complains about toxicity in the SH fandom, it's always aimed at the oldheads because really, their inability to accept western devs on the scene, even when said western devs got the nod from Akira Yamaoka, is what killed the franchise.
...It's just that this one time I think I actually agree with the oldheads just based on the demerits of Bloober Team's prior work. (I have no idea where body shaming came from; but... I frankly don't think I want to know.) I wouldn't be able to blame anyone for shitting on SH2 Remake pre-emptively specifically because I remember that time Bloober Team's writing implied that (to paraphrase) "once you're traumatized, there's no fixing you and you're better off derezzed." Fuck would I trust these people to properly represent the story of James and Mary Sunderland for?
