A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

If Spider-man was invented today, people would call it copaganda.
"Friendly Neighborhood Snitch-ass."
Cops hate him
Yeah, cause he takes all the fun parts of their jobs (catching bad guys, killing civilians) and replaces it with paperwork after they wait another hour for the guy in the web to be removable.
Okay, what if Spiderman, but he's actually public enemy #1 and webs up brutal cops?
Isn't that Batman?
Only if there's a side plot involving a sovereign citizen
The Stupendous Spider-Man #131:
“How Nefarious! It’s the National!”
Cover Art Description:
Man leaning out of a car window while pointing a gun at Spider-Man in the distance. The man’s license plate says “PRIVATE”, and there are multiple bumper stickers with the words “TRAVELLER” and “NON-COMMERCIAL VEHICLE”.
The National yells fiercely at Spider-Man, “I never entered into a contract with you, Web Head!”
Sovereign Citizen could be a wacky villain.
