That's because all they had for decades was the anti-consumer practice of console exclusivity. That has been the sole reason for the lack of some games on some of the platforms.
That and a shift away from the model used to make games in the past. Studios no longer churn out titles, they stay on subscription model games for a decade and cram it with cosmetics.
