The "culture war" has always been a thorn in my side my entire life. When the fuck hasn't it been shorthand for repulsive beliefs and values? Why the fuck is there "two sides" to questions like should brown people be treated like people? Women be treated with dignity? Non-cishet people treated as legitimate? All questions that can and are ignored or subsumed by class? The head of the Tories isn't exactly some white as fuck descendant of a knight who fought at Hastings, for fucks sake.
