Holy crap, adjusted for inflation those video tapes cost $89.46 in 2024 dollars.

Damn, and that's for each tape. Total for both tapes including shipping adjusted for inflation:

$ calc '((39.95*2)+4.50)*(315/143)' | xargs printf "%.2f\n"
185.92

For the laserdisc release:

$ calc '(64.95+5.00)*(315/143)' | xargs printf "%.2f\n"
154.09
