So ive got a perma ban on reddit, every new account I make gets banned immediately.

After some research I think its a device id ban. So my plan is to wait a couple weeks until my provider gives me a new IP adress, then I will backup my important stuff and do a factory reset on my phone and then create a new account on a fresh email address. is there an easier way?

I've had similar along with many comrades. I still maintain a presence there because there's a lot of libs that can be saved in my space.

It's become really easy to game reddit with mass reporting and get any user banned, even old accounts. We've been brigaded by liberal "leftists" for several months.

Resetting your phone is not going to be a solution if this keeps happening to you. Creating accounts from behind a VPN is similarly flagged and very prone to suspension or shadowbanning.

The only solution that works is using a pc browser, not android, clearing all your reddit site data first and created an account (create a few), using a normie connection, not a VPN. Get at least 100 karma from some stupid subs and only then try to use it on mobile.

Every time I use a new reddit account on mobile, my account's get suspended for ban evasion, so I have to remain on my PC for my accounts to stay

Clear your app cache and data completely before using again.

For Reddit or all my apps?

[–] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 4 months ago

Just reddit.

I use my phone as an alternate, it has a different IP from my computer and has never been on the internet server that I got banned on. Or something. I actually have no fucking idea.

Just wait a week and make an account again

[–] m4g1cmushr00m@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 4 months ago

yea ill try that cuz i dont really wanna go through setting up my phone again but i saw a bunch of folks saying that doesnt work because reddit bans device id. i also saw other people saying it does work so idk

We should share accounts here with passwords.

Maybe by DM so mods can't find.

Just use the website with a private browsing browser. If you're IP banned and you don't want to mess with VPNs and proxies, you can request a new IP usually or they'll assign you a new one if you change your router MAC.
