/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.

Fun will now commence.

The hell could O'Brien have done to get such a reaction?

Thomas Riker. Lol.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 17 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Could have at least invited his twin to the action. Vanilla oreo sandwich.

[–] OsaErisXero@kbin.run 8 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Nah, that's what he did: Slept with Thomas while he was with Will. That's how Thomas knows what happened between them, and let's the scene work as written still

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago

Crafty, I like it. Will as a jealous lover does track, considering Worf.

The hell could O'Brien have done to get such a reaction?

Nothing. Tom just wanted to scare O’Brien off. Tom was worried O’Brien knew Will well enough that an extended conversation would blow his cover.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 16 points 5 months ago (4 children)

Sure, that's the reality of the scene in question. But for the sake of the silly meme, I'd like to think that O'Brien violated some cardinal/unspoken rule for hooking up.

[–] GuyFleegman@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 5 months ago

It is, but I’ve seen this question asked earnestly so many times I just can’t tell anymore…

[–] kbin_space_program@kbin.run 9 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Allegedly he started to sing Louie Louie.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago

How else is he expected to establish a steady "paddling rhythm?"

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago (1 children)

He said that he wasn't too fond of the tombone.

[–] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 3 points 5 months ago

Lol, this deserves more upvote for "tombone"

[–] Toes@ani.social 4 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Probably walked in on some kinky holodeck shenanigans.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Those are the only kind he shamelessly knows.

[–] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 14 points 5 months ago (1 children)

I think it has more to do with him being the creator of Tom

[–] aaaa@lemmy.world 19 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago) (1 children)

Man why does everyone blame O'Brien for any problem with transporters? He never even served on the Potemkin! I'm sure if he was Chief, he would have made sure to disintegrate Tom right then and there

[–] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 5 points 5 months ago

They go in....

Oh hey Commander! I must say, your beard is looking magnificently adhesive today!

[–] TheGrandNagus@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago

It's obvious that Miles farted in a turbolift, which Riker had to endure for 15 decks.

Those raktajinos really cook up a nasty stench, too.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 8 points 5 months ago

I like this book

Always at least one typo. Thanks for the heads up.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago

I'm not going to explain the Gagh Incident. It would betray Chief's trust.
