I will never eat poop, now pass me that jar of bee vomit.

You know how many sap sucking insect poop out a sugar rich goo that ants feed on? Well... sometimes bees will eat it too and then you get poop-vomit honey (more formally known as honeydew honey).

See but is it wrong that I trust it more when nature does it? LMAO

You've just never had good poop

[-] odium@programming.dev 9 points 11 months ago

Nature already turns poop into food. Science is just speeding up the process and skipping some middle steps.

There’s a time where we have to draw a line and this is it

I think they recently turned pee into water, so, checks out.

I wonder how efficient our bodies are..

I’d imagine pretty efficient with all the soda and alcohol the average human being intakes.

Recent is a bit… misleading. Water purification through various means have been known and used for… a long time. The ancient Greeks knew about sand and gravel filtration, for example, and that boiling might help keep them safe.

And like I have a reverse osmosis unit installed in my house and have for 10 years, which would turn pee into water if pee was coming through my cold water pipes. (I heave lead, this gets rid of that)
