I'm not as techy as the stereotype seems to portray, but otherwise, yeah, I'm a white guy in my 30's.
I thought i was non-techy but in my office I'm one of two people who can add a printer, so i guess it's all relative.
Same, I'm not really technical at all but because I can use formulas in Excel I'm Gandalf.

I'm a 40-something lawyer by training with an English degree, but I guess I like enough nerdy stuff and hung out with enough engineers and coders that I am not too far off from the expected.
Age is not hardwired to things like posting behavior, personal views and affinity to technology. There are people younger than me who use their phone like my mom and write comments my grandpa would think are backwards thinking.
Totally, but I've seen several comments where people mention talking to their kids about topics, or other experiences that tend to lean a little older.

Older than that by about 20 years here, but I'm on kbin.social, where it tends to be pretty diverse - there's a pretty even balance of posting by gender, where it can be determined. It definitely feels more friendly towards minorities here than some of the lemmy instances. I think it really depends on what instance you're on.
Are you looking for only people who access ActivityPub content via a Lemmy instance, or are other platforms allowed to respond?

I think it is younger guys more than anyone else. In what way do the comments not fit that ?
Of 30 answers, I counted 19 that are either older than 30s or non-male. Maybe 3/4 male and about half under 40?
