I haven't drawn in years, and I recently started doing it again, I am particularly proud of this little willow I drew

Seems oddly, perfectly balanced, both complex and simple simultaneously. Me likey.

Well I was drawing a real tree I had in front of me, nature is like that sometimes hehe. Glad you liked it

This is extraordinarily beautiful! I don't think I've ever commented on art on either Lemmy or Reddit before, but I really like this.

Something about trees. They're always a comfort to look at. Willows more so, thanks!

You're very right! Trees are great

I will try! Was going to draw yesterday but ended up busy...

I love your art style and try to emulate that sort of thing myself.

Did you choose pen because of not being able to consider erasing your work, or was it just that a pen was all you had at hand? I heard that learning to draw with pencil is really just learning to selectively erase; what do you think?

[–] chrono@apollo.town 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I only had a pen, it's actually drawn in 1/4 of a letter sheet, behind a company pamphlet lol, I used a scanner app to up the contrast.

The thing about drawing with pen is 5hat you can usually cover the mistakes with more lines xD

[–] radix@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

Yes, that is true! I will keep the contrast tip in mind for when I send friends my art :O

I love it. Somehow, i've always been drawn to pen drawings. There is something about them, which i can't put into words. Like @foofiepie said; please make more and share them here
