  1. Can this use a fixed-width font? Currently, the timestamp jumps up and down a line depending on the combination of numbers.
  2. Can the date be formatted as yyyy-MM-dd or dd.MM.yyyy? The current format of MM/dd/yyyy is reminding me of America and I don't like it

While we're at it... I know there can only be one clock as the site default, but I always thought it would be kind of cool to also have a Beijing clock and Havana clock. I'd say Pyongyang too, but it's only one zone away from Beijing.

I would support this measure, as this clock is my primary means of telling the time. I hate having to do the mental conversion to Beijing every day.

Russian standard ГОСТ ИСО 8601-2001 implemented ISO 8601 23 years ago (also Chinese 'recommended' standard GB/T 7408-2005) and our Russian overlords would expect us to follow it thusly.

yyyy-MM-dd

That gets my vote.

The only good date format.

Can we get a Beijing time conversion too? I'm not on Moscows payroll but I am on Xi's.

  1. There are fixed-width versions of the numbers in unicode. These can be used for the clock without needing a css font change. 0123456789

ISO 8601 gang

It also incorrectly pulls the language for "Moscow Standard Time" from the browser's settings, I assume, instead from the account settings

yyyy-MM-dd is the enlightened centrist format, both sides are equally dissatisfied with it

[-] quarrk@hexbear.net 3 points 2 weeks ago

It is the most sortable however
