cue two comment chains, one consisting of very clever redditors posting lyrics of that one song by Eiffel 65, the other one consisting of very clever redditors quoting Arrested Development jokes, starting with "I blue myself" and with "there are DOZENS of us!" somewhere along the way.

Reddit Request is for taking over subs abandoned by the existing mods. They were picky about process and generally wanted to see that you will do more with a sub than just sit on it.
