My "standard" aluminum frame DIY e-MTB weighs like 70 lbs, this thing looks like it has a steel frame so I bet it's at least double that. I'd hate for the battery to run out of juice mid-ride, a 1% incline would feel like a mountain.

Fairly impossible for newer bikes, anything that looks like it came from the 80s is probably steel, even if it's recent

Still there is a rather large area for the battery to be in. In combination with some newer batteries, it could work
