Ybox and Swatch represent, who needs a GameStation anyway?

[-] TheTechNerd@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

Same for Linux platform - PC.

[-] TheTechNerd@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago

I should have added it more categories.

[-] echoplex21@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

I think you’re fine there’s so many different permutations then of “PC”. I use a Windows Handheld (Ally) but still considered it a PC

I suspect the answers coming from Lemmy will be pretty skewed coming from Lemmy.

It would be nice if the poll allowed secondary answers or something too.

[-] style99@kbin.social 12 points 11 months ago

This poll says more about who uses Lemmy than what gaming platform people in general use.

[-] warmaster@lemmy.world 12 points 11 months ago

lol, Facebook login... Fuck that.

[-] BertramDitore@lemmy.world 10 points 11 months ago

“VPN user voting is not allowed.”

[-] Chainweasel@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago

I got the same thing, probably to keep bot farms from masking their IP addresses and influencing results on popular polls.

[-] TheTechNerd@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Have no idea, guess it is their website policy.

[-] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 10 points 11 months ago

I see Cloud as an option, but I prefer Squall.

[-] Makeshift@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 11 months ago

I don't see an option for the Soulja Boy Game Console

[-] MisterChief@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

You tell em.

[-] GustavoM@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago

Where is the "whatever is in front of me" option?

I voted Xbox. There are dozens of us! ....two dozen according to the poll.

[-] setsneedtofeed@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago

The X-Box 360 had an incredibly good run.

[-] TurnItOff_OnAgain@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

I was number 1!

[-] soulifix@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

A grand majority of my games now reside in PC. All 1,100+ of them across platforms like GOG, Steam, Epic, Blizzard .etc

I've just sent a friend my old PS4 slim that had a handful of games for it but I don't really touch it for months. I've invested too much into PC to simply just drop it all for consoles.

[-] iNeedScissors67@kbin.social 1 points 11 months ago

Hmm I don't really have a main. I voted Playstation because that's where MLB/NHL are, but besides that I game on PC and Playstation pretty equally.

[-] Crystal_Shards64@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

For a very short while during the Xbox ones extremely rocky launch, my main was a PC. But I jumped back over to Xbox due to my friends being there.

Additionally halo was our bread and butter from halo 1 to reach so it made sense everything else would be played there too.

Once I started going to college and then got an office job, it's been a lot harder to play on my pc.

Here are the results at my time of reading this, if anyone is curious: https://i.imgur.com/PcMywpx.png

I do almost all of my gaming on PC (and Steam Deck too). I am the 256th person to vote PC. That's 2 to the power of 8. lol
