And then Democrats will wonder why I have no intention of supporting them

Oh my god, I can't believe they were protesting at a synagogue! What was going on at that synagogue that day?!

spoilerIt was an event for a real estate agency called My Home in Israel, who are selling off land in the West Bank and Gaza. The land will be ready for construction once the ethnic cleansing is complete!

a real estate agency called My Home in Israel

There's a far-right political party in Israel (more a hate group, really) called Yisrael Beiteinu, "Israel Is Our Home," that advocates ethnic cleansing, extrajudicial executions, disenfranchisement of Arabs who are Israeli citizens, and other ultra-nationalist bullshit. I wonder if the realty's name is a reference to those bastards.

I feel like that is the ultimate evidence that ethnic cleansing is the goal.

Why are masks a big fuss again pls help ootl

The reason they give is that they don't want people to be able to hide their identities at protests etc. I think there's also a backlash against people wearing masks in general because people really don't like being told that "going back to normal" actually means the mass disabling of the general populace, and the extermination of a smaller group of people with auto-immune diseases etc.

EDIT: Oh and in this specific case it's also because Karen Bass (the mayor in question) supports the genocide of palestinians.

It's hard to find LA politicians who are willing to speak out about what's happening to the Palestinians.

  1. Police state
  2. They’re scared of businessmen exposing the system with another “your grandparents are happy to sacrifice themselves for the economy” moment, so they’re preemptively getting rid of anything that makes people think their health is in danger, thus no demand for protections and restrictions
  3. Republicans will latch onto anything and turn it into an attack, and because democrats are bitches who don’t want to fight, they’d rather fold than to prove that their policies work. Same people who demanded people pay more for gas to beat putler btw

A bigger reason for masks is that Israel and its supporters regularly doxx and harass critics. The Likud fans have learned some tricks from Scientology. I have friends who are peace activists who have received face-to-face abuse, and in some cases their employers have received anonymous calls accusing them of antisemitism.
