WTF WHY IS THIS GAME SO HOMOPHOBIC
There's 2 funny things about Persona 4: 1) it's so homophobic that it makes you forget about the more or less casual sexism inherent to every games Hashino writes for; 2) all its fans defending it when it comes to the aforementioned points, cuz you see, it comes from le conservative Nihon, and is quite daring for the country. Dudes, Persona 2 exists and came out in 1999...
Yeah, the the fact that the only mildly queer stuff we got since Persona 2 is Kotone/Aigis in P3P (and inexplicably they gave her a romance option with Ken π) is just wild. Of course, just when we thought P4 was bad, we get Catherine's transphobia
Hashino and his consequences have been a disaster for Atlus. It sucks too cause he makes good games lol
Personally more of a Mainline SMT fan myself
nice, I'd say I like them equally. what's your favourite SMT game?
Nocturne and also 1+2 on SNES, I much prefer the darker themes and after 3 Persona kind of dropped off for me, Waiting on smt 5 coming down in price and probably do a play through of the first games on nes eventually too
