Linear time is also bourgeois decadence. If there can be weeks where decades happen, then a post from 11 months ago could be from last week.
Maybe you couldnt find others complaining about this because of how bad the search is
My guess is it isn't top posts/comments in the past week, bit that it's most upvoted in the past week
