Moved on to the second character in the campaign now. So far it's a great port.

I loved this game back on ds, but never finished it cause other games took focus. So far the port seems just like I remember the game. (Except for exelent new visuals)

Only "minus" so far is no touch input, but it's not a big minus at all and most players won't even think about it.

Wait, what? I really can't understand why they'd port it without touch input.

Even weirder is that Grindstone, another Capy game, has touch control on Switch. I guess someone else might have done the Clash of Heroes port.

I had the game on DS too, really liked it. I tried the android port that already had the enhanced visuals, but because of the weird orientation choice it was almost impossible to play on a phone screen, units were way too small for capacitive input. I'm sure on a larger screen it would have been no problem.

My guess is that this version is based on the other console versions of the game, and they didn't think of it.

it's perfectly fine without, but touch would make it playable one handed.

So, I wasn't really interested in this - not a big fan of match three games. But after seeing all the hype here, checked out couple of reviews and game play videos and now adding it to my wishlist. 😀 Another game added to my list, all because of you guys!

Some reviews and summarises calling it a "match 3"-game is really doing the gameplay a disservice. While it has elements of such games (you do match three to create attacks/blocks) it's different enough to be interesting even if you don't traditionally enjoy match 3 games.

It's a nice puzzle/strategy game with enough depth without getting to complecated.

Hope you find it enjoyable if you end up getting it at some point :)

Has someone already played it? Is the port good?

How did I miss this?! Does this have more content than the DS-version, or is it a straight port?

Seriously considering dusting off my DS to bring this lovely game when I travel tomorrow.

Well, the trailer says:

  • Refined gameplay and new balancing
  • Online and offline multiplayer. Upto 4 players online.
  • All DLC content.

Is that good?
