Ahhh I hate cave spinners. You have to spot them at a distance before they throw their web and then have a plan to deal with them. Knocking them into pits with chains or blast wave is ideal. Otherwise you wanna take them out at range. Step sideways when they see you so their web throw goes to that side, then hit them with all the ranged weapons and wands you got. Antimagic is tough though!

You can get rid of the web by just throwing something in it. Free if you have a shuriken and just took a step
Cool. I’ve only made it to the third floor.

My 6 challenge runs are killing me! I still have no idea how to effectively avoid damage and stay not hungry!
I've been trying with two challenges (badder bosses + swarm intelligence) and I've been unable to finish. Twice I've died in level 23...
The change for me in winning those challenges was hoarding scrolls of upgrade and applying them to the late stage weapon and plate armour after finishing the blacksmith's challenge in the cave, and applying his "free" upgrades to it.
Thanks -- I try to do the same, but I'm finding it hard to survive long enough to reach the blacksmith without upgrades, especially if the loot is not very good. I guess I need to improve my strategy, as well.
Does the game go on forever? What is the end point?
Floor 25 has the final boss
Oh no… lol
And for the true ending you have to get back up with tougher enemies. But usually you're set for that when you managed to beat the boss.
