Cause Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It is the best. Rock is about about playing sick riffs until.your parents get mad at how sick your riffs are, get blown away and then a bunch of 'totally not queer presenting at all' guys blast through your suburban drywall set and do a cool rock n roll point at stuffy dads while pronouncing the cultural revolution in plain simple terms. We have absolutely continued to take it for near 40 years after this tune, but how not to remains the same, put on makeup, wear sick clothes, play cool riffs and explode through the walls of the idle and comfortable and walk on their dinner table.

Good call! I've finally found what kind of weird music guy I'd become as a crust punk in my 30s. Turns out it's industrial and harsh noise. I've been doing Depeche mode loops of construction sites and other found sound, built a giant electric harp out of the body of a piano that we nailed a bass to and cause it's steel piano strings the pickups pick it up and have recently used a bass as a bow to play a guitar. I do wanna try making something poppier with these materials, but so far it's been really really intense
