Non-Azure team.

One thing that stood out to me during the interviews was the fact that all interviewers told me about how much Microsoft encourages internal mobility and growth.

Even the hiring manager told me this and told me they will do everything to support the growth of their direct reports and if they are not happy with their team. I was quite astonished even the HM said this while they knew it's going to take me another 3-4 months to join them because of my immigration application.

So is this all really true? Does Microsoft really care about growth and internal mobility? Even to different countries?

Also most importantly, how is it working at Microsoft these days? I've read A LOT of good things about work-life-balance. How true are those?
