Stop treating drug use as a crime and get drug users into an evidence based rehab.

[–] itsdavetho@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

At worse I'd call it reckless endangerment or something like that

She took it to school, where kids found it.

[–] bobman@unilem.org 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Eh. Not all drug users need rehab.

To say otherwise is patronizing and ignorant.

When it interferes with your ability to function in your daily life, that's a problem.

Sign One: hiding it in scrunchies at work around children.

During the urine test:

"Duncan stated that she was not aware of the pouch/container in her shorts until after she was providing her second sample," police wrote in their affidavit. "Duncan stated that she does not know how or when the pouch/container got into her shorts that day. Duncan stated that there may be another one of them at her residence but that they were not purchased by her, but by someone she knows who probably uses them to pass drug screens."

I laughed

At least she wasn't raping her students. It's a low bar to clear but she got over it where other teachers haven't. So I guess that's something.
