My dog howls whenever she hears Piano Man by Billy Joel. That's the only song she's ever reacted to, and she does it every time. Her ears perk up as soon as she hears the piano in the intro, and she starts howling when the harmonica starts. She doesn't stop until the song ends. I have no idea why she does this, and when I told her vet about it, the vet just shrugged and said, "I've always liked Billy Joel, too."

Maybe she’s just annoyed that Billy Joel wrote a song about how everyone in the bar sucks but him.
My cat will come in and lay down in front of the speakers when I put Alice in Chains on. Probably just a coincidence, but hey it seems cool.
She'll also watch the TV when I play Metroid games. She likes watching the morphball roll around.
Probably likes the rumbling
Also the morphball is such a cat thing to like haha
Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking too
Your cat hears the promises of a rooster coming and knows for sure he's gonna die. She's waiting to score a kill.
She wants to peel the skin off it's face
My cats simply act like it's not happening, no concept of what's going on. Or any of Marvin Gaye's other albums for that matter.
My friend had a bird called a Beo, he talked as well. When I played guitar he would come over and listen. If I stopped playing he went "uh?" looking at the sound hole of my guitar
Every animal I've had has reacted to my playing of a flute or ocarina. They ignore my piano and guitar tho lol
Treble is a natural stimulant/attention-getter me thinks
I had a cockatiel as a kid that would sing along with most of the Disney princesses.
I used to have a budgie who liked tupac 😎🐦
My budgies will make a lot of noise when any music is playing. Also when people talk. For this reason, they have a radio playing while we are out of the house and can't talk to them.
Dolphins are said to like music so much you can lure them to a boat if you have opera singers on board.
I've seen multiple videos of barn owls "dancing" to music.
I have no idea what's going on in their heads, but it's something.
The only time any of the pets I've ever had reacted to music was the one time I was playing something super bassy on some cheap desktop speakers, which rattled against the desk when they shook, and it spooked the cat I had the time causing her to jump so high she practically hit the ceiling before running out of the room.
I've never had a dog that reacted to music at all.
Depends, but it's best when they react like they're at a black metal concert: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SomGqAYB-jE
