Thank you for all your hard work. I hope I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate all that you are doing.
Liftoff!
A mobile client for Lemmy running on iOS and Android
Thanks for your hard work on this great app ☺️
It's really great to see how much passion people put into these Lemmy apps
Thank you for your work
Definitely the best app for lemmy I've come across.
I'll be honest, I'm just using it while we wait for Sync to come out lol
Next best thing though, and appreciated
These kinds of releases are boring to develop but so important for users. Thanks for all you're doing!
Hey. Loving the app. I've checked out sync today, along with all the other apps but none do it as well as here for me.
That said, I have been having an issue with my subscription feed. I get a timeout error very frequently. Would love to know how to fix it
Not yet released on GitHub?
This app is truly the best among all the Lemmy Apps
But sadly on IOS the app is still very unstable. Is this something you are aware of? I dont want to roast or some thing, since the app is still pretty new.
I’m not sure what’s going on there’s been nothing for several weeks now and over on Matrix no talk of any bug fixes. I posted in the community asking if users can do anything (in case it’s a resource issue) but didn’t here anything
It’s a real shame as other clients are seeing rapid development but it’s falling behind and as you say, the iOS app seems to stop responding and needs tidying up.
Looking through the GitHub it doesn’t look like anyone has commented on a bug for over a month and no one has been assigned to one for much longer.

All concerning. Wish someone would say what is happening. I’m sure users would chip in if it’s a funds issue.
Thank you for making this amazing app. I've tried all the others, including the brand new voyager app, and still think this one is lightyears ahead.
I'm not trying to be edgy when I say I much prefer this to Sync as well. Like, privacy and payments aside, this one is designed better. With Sync theres very poor comment design, and I love how we can customize that further with Liftoff!
I fully agree on that
nice app yet
Oooh, touching the Home icon brings us back to top now 😀 awesome, thank you!
Yeah I really needed it! But I believe it needs some refinements. Right now if you are navigating between tabs it goes back to top, so if you go to profiles and back you lose the scrolling position. I believe it should only go to top if the user is already in the home tab
I’m looking forward to checking this out when it hits kbin.social.
The thumbnail in the card view mode are more than welcome, but I was hoping for full card thumbnails. Finger crossed for the next update 🤞
I am using connect and everything works like searching for user, community. Font is bigger now so easy for eyes. Is liftoff better than connect ?
Hi. Love the app. It’s all I used. I did have to pause temporarily after updating to this release (from TestFlight). The issue I have is that when I open the app and I am looking at the main feed (in ALL), I can scroll down or not, it doesn’t seem to matter. I then switch to a different app, say open a link in Firefox, and then return to the app, liftoff automatically refreshes the feed and moves me back to the top.
This started when I updated to 0.10.10 (cannot remember what I was at before).
The list of subscribed comms accessed from the bullet point list icon at the bottom was broken with the update:
An error message saying something about a null pointer was displayed. Sorry I forgot to take a screenshot.
Reinstalling on iOS restored the functionality.
On Android using Play Store, storage deletion, then re adding instance and users was needed.
Video auto play is awesome. Would be even more awesome to be able to show videos full screen as well. And being able to navigate from inside full screen video mode (for example swiping left/right) to directly view the previous/next post in full screen mode… that would be absolutely amazing. 🤩
I'm getting liftoff from Izzy. Is there a more up-to-date FDroid source?
That's the latest AFAIK.
