  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

“Not now!”, screamed Trump as he greedily shoveled full handfuls of lukewarm fries 🍟 into his weird little mouth, then he proceeded to lean backwards under the ice cream machine with an open mouth and pull the handle with his greasy little hand 🤚

But alas… it was broken 😞

As we all know, of course, a Trump “handful“ is just two or three fries. It’s freaky how tiny his hands are in proportion to the rest of his body.

He’s a weird looking guy.

[–] EleventhHour@lemmy.world 15 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Literally everything about that guy is extremely weird. As a New Yorker, we’ve been familiar with his asshole since the 80s. He was always horrible, but he has steadily gotten worse over the decades.

It’s the anal leakage, isn’t it.

the giants won by kicking an oblong ball made of pig skin through a large "H". It was a most ripping victory.

[–] Coreidan@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Nah. They definitely lost.

Not mine, and I’ve been posting it a lot, but I just can’t get enough of it. This is so very perfect.

I love that one plus this one

I need to see Epstein as Ronald and Trump as the Hamberdler

Sarah Huckabee would make a fair Grimace

[–] Albbi@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 weeks ago

His expression looks like a 17 year old's first day on the job trying to figure out what everything is and does. Except he's a weird and tired 78 (almost 80) year old.

Could add “is this where they come from?”

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 36 points 3 weeks ago

"I absolutely support paying a minimum wage."

"No, raising the minimum wage."

"What, higher?"

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 24 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Imagine if Democrats had increased the national minimum wage and could draw a strong contrast here.

Oh well.

[–] criitz@reddthat.com 23 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

They put forward a bill like every year. Republicans vote against it.

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 26 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

8 democrats voted against it last time they had a majority.

[–] JoeBigelow@lemmy.ca 11 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

Who the fuck is down voting this? Can somebody better at Lemmy than me say? Edit:or prove him wrong instead of down voting

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Blue MAGA. Can't call out Democrats for not delivering. They'd rather blame the voters for not voting for them instead of politicians for not delivering (stuff like the $15 minimum wage, codifying Roe vs Wade when they had a filibuster proof majority, the public option, ...).

The pictures are making their way to meme generator sites. https://imgflip.com/memegenerator/556562065/Trump-working-at-McDonalds

Because Trump does not care about the needs of the working class. They are a means to an end for him.
