So I started playing through gw1 recently, and I see that MM is absolutely covered in snow. You can also go to Droknar's Forge, and as is expected, it's all snowy. Now, in gw2, you can still see Droknar's Forge, but it's under water, and afaik there isn't any snow left in MM in gw2. I always thought that the snow and ice melted because of MM erupting, but everywhere I look on the wikis or ingame, I can't find even a mention of it erupting. It's like everyone just accepts that its active now, but wasn't in the events of gw1. I looked through the timeline too, but there's nothing there related to this. Does anyone have any info on this topic? I realize this isn't really something that's in any way connected to any ongoing plot point, but I'd still like to know. I would appreciate anything you send my way. Thanks!
