For civil discussion of US politics. Be excellent to each other.

These guys thinking they'll still have jobs where they can do something about his orders.
If it gets serious they can always pull a JFK and hope for the best.
Why can't intelligence just destroy all their offices. Those in charge should know they aren't going to keep their job so why not make the next people in charge have to rebuild all of their shit
Because the average human is really bad at integrating drastic changes to the status quo
