I do a really good rendition of Inside Out by Eve 6 and I bet some people hate me for it.

I bet it's impressive! I looked them up, and they apparently just released an album, which is neat.

[–] Coolkidbozzy@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

bad take, chappell roan karaoke is good

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

It was good the first dozen or so times I've heard it but the local karaoke bar near me had to implement a strict 2 chappel roan songs a night limit. Every fucking Friday it was just a chappel roan discography karaoke night. I like her it just gets so fucking boring do something else

Anything by Nickelback

And my shameful former go-to karaoke song, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.

[–] rentasonder@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 day ago

Oh man. I feel like that could work with the right crowd?

This was a good song the first time I heard it.

But at this point it is the most cliche karaoke song you could possibly pick.

Journey sucks, Foreigner for life!

The KJ does this one every night when one of his friends walks into the bar? It's very abstract and honestly he nails it. He'll announce it and then go out back and when he comes in he's really energized and the vibe is really good.
