Conservative estimates say nearly 44,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's war on Gaza and two million have been under constant Israeli aggression as they fight what UN experts have called "'deliberate starvation".

This is wrong. 44k (or whatever the official # is) is not a "Conservative estimate". It's not an estimate at all. That's just a count of the people whose bodies have been collected and tallied by the Gaza health ministry. "Conservative estimates" are still over 100k.

It goes to show how complete the propaganda has been, that a pro-Palestine publication would (unintentionally) use deceptive/inaccurate phrasing like that.

That's a pretty tall order. Stripe is integrated into a lot of ecommerce websites.

I wonder if you could write a browser extension that specifically blocks stripe integrations. Or is stripe more of a backend integration thing?

[–] propter_hog@hexbear.net 13 points 3 weeks ago

You could definitely block their frontend integration with noscript. I tend to avoid companies that use them anyway because they're annoying as hell. This is just one more reason.
