All that for arguably the shittiest outcome?

Arguably? What would be worse? Resurrecting Quibi and putting it on that?

Tbf I think peacock was mentioned as a possibility and I'd say apple tv is a good quater step above that

Apple’s offering would be offered in like 100+ countries so this would be great for the conference wanting to build a market outside the US, assuming you can convince people to sign up.

Guess it depends to some degree if on peacock it was included with the base subscription or like this it was an extra $20 a month.

I do believe that streaming is going to eventually be the answer for everyone. It won’t be long and ESPN will be streaming their main channels to people for a few…without cable. And I’m looking forward to that.

But right now, while in an arms race, that is not what the PAC 12 wants to hear.

If it had been the promised "more than the Big XII but mostly streaming" then I think there'd be a lot less drama in the PAC today. The totals are just going to make the streaming and escalators a hard pill to swallow. I know Yormark wanted decisions by today, and while there was certainly an element of bluster there, I do think it had the intended effect of pushing Kliavkoff to show his work to-date.
