I really don't like the implication that that was part of why he was sentenced to death; no idea whether that's accurate or just Western editorializing because that's also something he was accused of. Like, great, kill him for being corrupt but bigamy is something else entirely and shouldn't influence whether or not you get executed lol

When I was reading the Brian Thompson Wikipedias, at first I misread his mother as his wife and I thought there were 2 separate wives and families.
