Local subreddits can really bring out the worst ghouls possible. Dozens of comments on this one celebrating and laughing at a 15 year old boy in critical condition because muh easily replaceable property...

Also includes comments hoping for a lengthy prison sentence, or just for his outright death, with one (at the time of posting) specifically calling for his hanging...

Oh, and of course, the most downvoted comment is one telling people to cool it with their freakish death fantasies. We're so cooked...

It's actually upsetting how cruel the average person is on a subreddit called fucking r/Connecticut.

There's so much unhinged shit in the comments, but I think the most rage-inducing one is; "I believe this is called “natural consequences.”

Liberals can be vicious, cruel people. Like last week on lemmy.world they were cheering on the fact that the UK denied entry for Bashar al-Assad's wife to get treatment for her cancer.

She isn't even the one accused of any wrongdoing by atlanticist media, and everyone over there was cheering it on, hoping that she dies. Literally just a family relation of someone their media tells them to hate. Like I'm sure the USSR would've given Eva Braun treatment for cancer if that were the case. Being glad that someone is being denied medical care is such disgusting behavior.

Yet no one blames the insurance companies as the reason it sucks so bad to have your car stolen
