An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.

Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.

MODERATORS
A few weeks ago I impulse bought a 24" show shovel at Sam's club cause it was ~20$ and I didn't wanna use a traditional shovel like I did last winter. The ticket scanning lady made some snide comments about "are you really expecting that much snow this year?" Frankly, I didn't know or care. I'm just trying to add to my tool collection.
Jokes on you, lady! We're getting a winter storm this weekend. And I'm gonna use my new shovel to clear the sidewalks. Might even clear my neighbor's sidewalk too.
Snow shoveling is known to be high risk for cardiac arrest as the effort needed causes metabolic stress due to sudden rise to fast pulse and high body temperature under warm clothes, especially with the older demographics (and even for younger people).
Please be careful.
I know from experience that those can be heavy if you need to pick them up with snow on them. I made the mistake of using one to clear my deck and had to lift it up, all laden with snow, over the railing to dump it. If you're doing anything like that just be careful for your back, bend at the knees as much as you can.
Suppose to snow tonight.
But only like an inch so I'll probably salt and call it good before making some hot cocoa and pretending I did work.

What you really want is a poly grain scoop with a long handle. Guess you’re going to have to add to that shovel quiver.
