So its not the opposite of middle earth that might be the same as middle earth.

I'm fairly sure that's exactly what the point is. Middle-Earth is the centre of their world, while Skyrim is the land at the very edge of their world.

Never really looked at the Elder Scrolls world map. Does this mean I can boot up Skyrim and travel due East and eventually wind up at a good game???
