I've said it once and said it again, this was entirely predictable and that the business donors would start a fuss to get those workers back.

Sam: If we really want to do this, let's go to those farmers who hired undocumented workers and let's lock them up and see what the dynamic is. How different that would be.

Emma: Well remember they tried to do that in Florida and all of those business owners freaked out? Because they were like, "We're okay with you holding over the immigration status, holding that over our workers head so we can pay them sub-minimum wage and potentially abuse them. But you're going to come after us if we hire undocumented people?" And then quickly the Republicans in Florida just scuttled that part of what they were trying to do.
