Stalin should've armed the KKE

I worked at a hotel bar across from a convention center, every group loved talking about how much they could drink, that you'd never seen anyone drink like they could. All these different types of salespeople, annoying for sure. Yeah, I'm sure agricultural equipment sales folks are the best drinkers bud. They were so proud of it, but any dive will have drunker and more entertaining people. Easy to get a rise out of them by saying how much more another group the week earlier had drank.

Anyway, alcoholism is a problem and probably not the victory they're looking for, otherwise this is Utah's game to lose.

Not surprising but interesting to note- if a socialist even glances at the levers of power, there's no "give them a chance," it's suddenly that everything bad that has ever happened, is happening, and will happen is their fault and they must be removed immediately, by force if necessary. But libertarians get this and are the don't tread on me folks, god I hate them.

I worked at Amazon over a decade ago, when these were new, it was the first time I saw these things and all I could think was how ugly they were and why would anyone buy them. I'm still thinking that but stricken with the fact that they still exist against all rational thought

The context of social media feeds, this has been more of a problem on Instagram, there's a 50/50 an image that initially looks interesting is AI or real but on a page that thinks any buildings made before the 20th century were built by aliens.

That and catastrophic engineering failures are commonly rendered enough that a leap to AI seems reasonable. And the poster basically accompanied the video with saying "poggers"

I saw a post about this less than an hour after it happened.

Infrastructure decay in the US has been something to be concerned about for awhile, but when I first saw it my first reaction was from a new kind of horror that will only get worse:

My first thought was that it was AI. The post I saw was written in a way that felt like AI bros excited about their new toy, what it could do, trying to bring the horrors it creates to relevancy by creating a fake news story.

And after all that, it actually is a real tragedy where real people died.

This plus drama about contrapoints and philosophy tube have filled my Twitter feed with the seemingly ever increasing presence of chuds, who seem to be of a new breed lately on social media, much more aggressive towards all leftists on there then I remember.

Anyway, it's hell world

Make Siberia more livable by building a shit ton of dams in the mountains, creating a vast amount of lakes. I don't know if this will actually do anything. But maybe a lake effect will change the Siberian Highs that causes massive cold weather patterns to hold in the area and it's surroundings? Was an idea to maybe make Vladivostok and the Russian Far East more like Seattle weather wise. More rain, more movement of air generally, lots of fresh water stocked up, maybe routed to central Asia. Idk what would actually happen but it'd be fun to see
